They Call it Momentum

Someone said that most blogs that are started at some point are given up after 3 months of that blog. This may just be one of those blogs.

But for now, I have something they call momentum on my side. I've got the ball rolling and I'd like to keep it going. The real problem with "life" blogs is that if your life is boring, the blog will be boring, people won't come and read, and there's nothing to bring people in day in and day out. But that's it then, this is a "life" blog, like a diary for my life, but more fun.

Even if this is a "life" blog as I've so affectionately dubbed it. I'm adding new widgets to make it interesting for the casual viewer. Consistently adding pictures and links and YouTube clips for personal and private enjoyment. News articles will be featured as well as various little tidbits about the things that drive my life, like TV shows and stuff.

Anyways, to leave you with something before this post is over. I'm in Berkeley, it's raining, it sucks, I'm studying for a psychology midterm. It sucks.

But, I took a picture with my new woot monkeys and my wii as well as uploaded a web album of the pictures I took at NCBA Winterguard Champs from last week in my Picasaweb.

The Start of the New Blogging Revolution

Welcome to the new evolution of the blog. Yours truly will attempt to make this a place of fun, a place of joy, and a place on unintended hilarity and deprecation. But if it doesn't work out that way, then I'm a lazy bum, and it'll never happen.

Currently the layout is very haphazard and scrappy; I'd like to spice it up with some html code here and there and maybe some other cool things to play around with. If anyone has anything interesting, let me know with a comment or two. I'd like to pump up the readership by a couple...

For now I've got the video trailers for the new Tarantino/Rodriguez double feature Grindhouse to the side. Hopefully, I'll be able to update the "Video of the Week" every week, but the widget is really crappy since it only shows the first four videos that come up with a general YouTube search. Hopefully I can figure out a way to make it display what I want, but until then, enjoy these scrumptious trailers feature Rose McGowan.

I figured it out. I embedded a small YouTube Playlist player on the sidebar. It's small, but I'll be embedding my video of the week directly into blog and keeping it in the playlist on the side as an "archive" of sorts. For now, enjoy:
